Every time I click on a movie details page, the movie instantly starts streaming whether I want it to or not. It seems as if the "Streaming" option is stuck in the on position and can't be turned off.

Is anyone else experiencing this glitch, or is it just me?

This is a change we made last week. It's often difficult for folks who are not used to the Archive to figure out how to play a movie. So, we made it so the movie automatically starts playing. You can turn it off by clicking on the small box next to the slider.

We appreciate your feedback on this, and we're interested in hearing feedback from more users.

The auto play is confusing if you just want to browse the films and read the IDMB pages. If something ain't broke, don't fix it.

I hadn't noticed it before, because it simply doesn't work in the browser I usually use, but I tried another one and it's doing the same to me. This seems to be a layout change made in the last couple of days. This could get to be a problem, especially for someone with a slower computer like my home machine.
